The original project of Othman daughters Kala and Anna, the first vintage was produced in 2003 and was met with high acclaim. Small clusters and tiny berries offer a high skin to juice ratio, contributing to deep color and texture. It offers notes of wild blueberries, cocoa powder and vanilla pastry cream with subtleties of smoked meat and spiced black plums. 

Perched at the highest point of the famed Bien Nacido Vineyard, this blockbuster shows aromas native to the hillside ZB block of blackberry and olive tapenade. It evokes sensory feelings of driving up Pacific Coast Highway with a salty sea breeze and scents of California Sagebrush, dried wildflowers, and wind-swept cypress. 

Nocturnum pays homage to our barn owls who “belong to the night.” They protect the ranch at nightfall, maintaining balance of the ecosystem and are a crucial component of sustainability in our vineyard. It showcases deep aromas of black currant and sandstone with sweet hyacinth florals and flavors of white pepper and huckleberry juice on the long, complex finish.

Planted a mere two miles from the ocean, the vineyard is fog-laden and ocean kissed. It offers scents of wild strawberries, pink peppercorn and blackberry tea with complex notes of cumin and bramble fruit preserves that saturate the palate with a rich, silky finish.
