2024 GAMAY NOIR - LOT 61

For the inagural feauture of the program, we chose a varietal we always wanted to experiment with, Gamay Noir. This Gamay was made like a pinot noir, skirting customary Beaujolais-style techniques in favor of barrel aging, texture, and substance. It shows deeper purple fruit tones with notes of acai, plum flesh and black tea leaves. It is medium weight on the palate, and is best served at a cool cellar temperature with a double cream Gouda.
